The couple recently moved to Foley from Knoxville, Tennessee, where Anna Loveday was working as a real estate agent and Shawn was working for a local home inspection company. Anna has roots in South Alabama. Her grandfather was a Bon Secour Shrimper for 50 years, thus coastal living is in her blood.
Anna considered building a general real estate business from the ground up in Baldwin County, Alabama, prior to meeting with D.R. Horton Mobile/Baldwin. She was attracted to the benefits and blown away by the growth potential within the company. It’s been an interesting transition from resale to new construction. With 80% of Horton’s business being generated from buyers represented by real estate agents, she’s had to shift her focus from prospecting over to building and maintaining relationships with local agents.
Anna Loveday Realtor-D.R. Horton sales representative is currently assigned to the Heather Trace community, where the company is having trouble keeping up with demand, which is equally a blessing and a challenge. She’s super excited about DR Horton’s new “Exceed Program” that has been implemented to exceed client expectations of their experience after the sale. Each new homeowner will be contacted within 14 days of closing to gauge satisfaction and evaluate repair items that need to be addressed immediately. At the 100 day mark, the builder brings in Skytech Engineering for a full home health checkup/inspection.
Shawn Loveday launched his own home inspection business, Sunset Home Inspection LLC, in January of this year. The first thing you’ll recognize about Shawn is his energy. He is passionate about customer service, stating “My clients pay for a service and I want to give them the best possible service I can.”
Shawn is a Union Pipe-fitter by trade and attributes that experience to his current focus on steadfast professionalism. “He’ll stay at a property until he finds everything!”, Anna exclaimed. Shawn attributes his success to a “systematic approach” to home inspections. He pays attention to every detail when evaluating the structural integrity of a property, educates both the agent and his clients on his findings, and delivers a detail-oriented report in a timely manner.
This duo is good looking and great at what they do, yet there’s no ego or arrogance about them. They exist to serve, with a focus on quality not quantity.
